Jezus you'd think 3 people could do something better than that...don't we have a demo of it with different production BTW? I only listened briefly but it sounded mega-familiar, except the beat...

Sorry I just saw this! I know I was VERY disappointed with the production I was imagining some hot electro-dubstep shit with those 3 but its just general rock Sad

however the track as a whole is really good and I'm excited about the album. You mean a demo by Claude?

Yeah we have the demo, it's actually not that different now that I'm listening to it, it just doesn't have the intro, the beat starts immediately and it's a lot more old school Timbo-esque [much rougher drums].

It's grown on me a bit, for some reason it's getting lots of airplay [apparently male teen-oriented pop-rock is big at the moment, both Hot Chelle Rae and even fucking One Direction have big hits here right now, fucking weird...] and it's like heaven compared to hearing those tracks and I got a hangover whoa-oh-oh all day long...what bugs me about Claude at times is that he's very style-over-substance or something, like the redundancy of "December winter night" [as opposed to those cold July winter nights] or the nonsensicalness of mentioning only US cities in International Love...

I also think Guy Sigsworth may have worked on this but I'm 100% not sure. For the record Claude has worked with him as well on pop-rocky stuff, so there'd be a fair chance he'd be involved...

OMG awesome loving that BC Jean is writing Wink

I so hope we get Pharrell and its not just generic rock like the single [which I wish was more electro even if just a little mixed with rock like Rihanna's 'Fool In Love' that was the least I thought we were gonna get production wise] although I do like it a lot I think his voice carries it mostly he's a really good vocalist loved the way he chanelled everyone on his first album [Pink, Tedder, Linda Perry, the Muse guy, GaGa] which was really quality material I think this will be the same Wink

Totally agree about Claude as well his ability to be generic is both his downfall and success at times most time I love it but sometimes it just sounds shit.. I think as with a lot of writers he's getting better/more individual with time Rico Love is one of the most impressive for this to me, I DETESTED his old stuff but his recent stuff esp. with females is fantastic quality... [see: Teairra Mari, Melanie Fiona, Mary, Kelly Rowland]

fingers crossed this isnt as utterly flat as it was about to be, glad he's back in the studio - i hope he makes this huge... and less of the claude kelly, that stuff is just so generic - bc jean also weirdly excited for that.

Looks like they're trying again single-wise with The Smeezingtons track with Dr. Luke re-producing [surprised he didn't bring Cirkut and even more surprised 'Better...' failed at radio] I'm not listening to any of the leaks want to hear it as a whole but it looks amazing collabo wise Very Happy
