Don't forget we have a Priscilla Renea track "Lease My Love" confirmed.

Someone was working on this and supposed to do the 1st single but I can't remember who it was haha this was like 2 weeks ago ugh

No way that's awesome finally Alicia has put her tired writing aside & employed some superstars! [I ADORED her first 2 albums but she went way downhill from there for me]

Well she used to work with Harold Lilly a lot, we got Kandi & LaShawn tracks when they were big and an occassional other random writer here and there but her lyrics are shaky at best, fine at times but a lot of the time cheesy as well, same for her later tracks in general... [it's also about time she worked with S&K...I always found it weird that they never had a track with her or even worked with her as far as I know, her being on J, them always working with every J artist at the time, her being like Clive's top artist at the time, they should've worked on The Diary... at least, it makes no sense, especially after the Keyshia Cole track] But yeah same here, there were very few tracks that I actually enjoyed on her last few albums and some I really hated, these days she's trying to be too interesting while still writing too many tacky lyrics if you ask me...so yeah, she should definetly work with more people on this...

OMG we got the demo to 'Lease My Love' today tagged as Rihanna! Sounds amazing I hope Alicia still places it! [Priscilla is sounding REALLY like RiRi on this though not just in the verses but also the shouting in the chorus, do we think it was sent to her first??]

Priscilla just sounds a shitload like Rihanna in general so I wouldn't count on it too much, it wouldn't be the first song by her tagged as Rihanna [Emergency Room, Happy Hour]. Still need to listen, though, and we know Rihanna had writing camps for her last 2 albums so it's not impossible either, any idea who produced it?

Yeah I guess so just this one really does it has all her vocal quirks but who knows maybe she just influenced her vocally.. No production tag though guessing Alicia will have it re-produced by her and Swizz though to get their paper up...I can see her totally ditching Krucial on this project ugh..

It's supposed to be DarkChild, she worked with him twice before of course so it could be. I only listened briefly and wasn't very impressed. I acually thought it sounded like it was co-written by Cri$tyle though...

Alicia has become so boring, she went from generally having good music with lyrics ranging from tacky to good to overall just having boring music with mediocre lyrics, I don't get what she's been trying to do on her last few albums at all, they only had a few potential singles each and they even decided to not go with those...especially with the current R&B climate it would be so easy for her to have a solid album out but rest assured it's gonna be a borefest...

Yeah she's awful now compared to the first 2, even 3 at a push I hope she delivers with this one and brings it around maybe more writers/producers is the way to go for her, she seems to have run dry of decent ideas so sad considering her first two albums concepts/writing/production...

Yeah I actually don't mind her generally having a main producer, I do think it works better for her kind of music, with a handful of tracks by other people but it apparently becomes a problem when that producer is Swiss Beatz. She could definetly use some co-writers though, so hopefully Priscilla writing a track is just a start. If anybody cared she should've been in with at least Chuck Harmony, No ID, Oak & Pop, Shea Taylor, StarGate, Syience & The Rural, maybe Nightwatch [yeah I'm kinda thinking Bridget Kelly is like the new doper version of Alicia lol]. Writer-wise obv James, Andrea, Dean, Makeba, Lonky, maybe Arama, Carmen Key & Stacy Barthe and also had her work with Candice, Harold Lilly Jr & Novel again...

Oh and Raphael Saadiq for consistency, I'm guessing he worked on most her albums as well [he did Lesson Learned as well, uncredited IIRC]

Yeah, I hope we get a bit more variety on this album, as with Leona she's talented but being talented and having a great album are too entirely different things...
