Discogs, album posts etc

This is just from the top of my head, stuff that sort of needs to be done either soon or in the long run, I'm sure I've forgotten obvious stuff but here's what I could think of. Please add whatever you think of as a reply [and also for later on just add it to that post, as I will to this so I can keep a clear view of what's mine and yours, since I probable have something of a basis already for most if not all of 'mine'].

Also, lyrics sections for at least Claude, Frankie, Lonny, Makeba & TWC...maybe more? And maybe also for some of the bigger producers like B&A, SG, S&K...y'know the types that we do get a lot of songs from that we might want lyrics for but won't necesarilly always fall into those writers' sections...same for certain artists like brandy or Nikki & RaVaughn for instance...?

definitely agree about the lyrics section. If you're gonna take on so many posts though like you say keep a backup, I've been backing up most of the forum posts in text files and formatted [eg. [size=10]abc[size] since the shutdown last time...

I will have a think of any one else I wanted Full Circle but I think they literally just launched with Polow, at least as a trio because all I have from their past are the Rihanna-intended demos I posted on Box [Brody Brown & KFam produced one each] their BMI just lists their placements..

Well as far as lyrics go I keep on my pc and just copy+paste them here so that's no problem, the thing with discogs is that with some people have tracks added like 3 times a week [these days it's kinda quiet though, I'm guessing most people have learned not to use gmail]

Yeah I know, you told me but I've hardly seen anything at all either, way and way less tracks are registered these days than there were a few years ago...also added Jodie Connor - the thing is there are hardly any track titles etc other than her god awful singles and collabos but she worked with at least James, Makeba & Priscilla and she pretty much confirmed Makeba & Priscilla for the album [without saying that James wouldn't be on there] so it's something to watch out for nevertheless...

LMAO no way Jodie working with THEM??? She's from my hometown! haha [and is god awful I'm sure they'll give her some heat though] Can't believe that Loick Essien too I thought he was just some typical UK R&B act but he's confirmed with James already and who else? So nice to see UK acts using talented US writers for once, we have nothing over here it seems haha

Well yeah I'm guessing James did that leaked clip "Euphoria", the verses sound like him, chorus doesn't though so either that's Loick or someone else, I think...he also did at least 1 other track with him, "How Long [Ancient]" produced by Naughty Boy...but James was in the UK a lot at the time and there may be way more, we only got 1 UK track from him that I can think of and his stuff might still be on The Saturdays' new album [he worked with them before their last EP but that doesn't mean much, I mean re-release / new album type of stuff is always sketchy]...James may also have written "In The Ground"...other than that we have the 2 StarGate tracks, a Lil' Eddie / Polow one, a Chuck Harmony one and plenty that I have no idea about, I haven't exactly investigated them too much either so there may be some good stuff there...he also worked w/ Lil' Eddie / Lady V / DarkChild and more sessions with Eddie & Mr V and other people too IIRC...

Well let's wait and see, there might be interesting stuff on that album, I'm sure Ina will do the majority but still, they've obviously given her less tracks with each release...maybe they even worked together, James & Ina, that would be a nice new combo, her older collabos aren't very interesting and extremely one-sided but in the past year / 2 years she's obviously been working with more and more US or at least US-oriented people [DarkChild, B&A, S&K, Ammo & Koool Kojak, I'm sure StarGate too, she already worked with Es?ionage and StarGate NO ages ago...then there's Bonnie, Evan Bogart, Claude...]...

Yeah Ina is improving every release she does 'Notorious' is probably my favourite track she's done for The Saturdays even though it sounds nothing like her or Steve Mac that's a good thing haha would definitely like to hear more from her and DEFINITELY like to see The Saturdays being less reliant on her, she may as well be the sixth member haha

The Keyshia Cole track was written by Tammi Latrell Harris who did another track on that Whitney album...I think Patrice Stewart probably worked with them but I can't think of anything that was released, she had some demos leak too, didn't she?

Well, what can you think of, it can't be that much? It's not like there's dozend and dozens, both of them have without a doubt done loads with them but they've obviously never been released...

Haha yeah I know man, I told you she's a seasoned writer...she was in w/ Soul the other day...

Aww yeah that's her she did 'Whatchulookinat' for Whitney that's why I was confused... Think they're literally the only tracks I have by that Patrice girl though but they were both dope [Dear John Letter & One Of Those Days] She'kspere [think they used to call him that in booklets cos their computers didn't have the accent e on them haha] had clearly changed his production style but we never got to hear it much... [those & the Blu Cantrell track is all I got of his recent stuff]

But yeah if you could I literally have nothing by those 2 & I've loved everything I've heard Very Happy

I think Patrice may have done other stuff with him for Isyss or Nodesha? Maybe that Tina something album? I know I've heard at least something else by her...think she may have had an Oak track or 2 leak? Does he go by another name now then, stylized differently? It's always been written like that to my knowledge, I think I know most if not all the tracks he did in the late 90s/early 00s...

Here's what I got, I may have missed 1 or 2 tops ['untagged' in my discog] but I think this is probably all that's widely available. I think there was a disputable Anthem / Kevon Edmonds track too, registered as S&K but credited to someone else in the end, I always forget to get to the bottom of that...also there's another Anthem / Beverly track that didn't make the cut [on the unreleased album], don't know if that was ever available, never could find it, at least...so let me know which ones you do already have :

Well I'll up 'em all later then but I'll do them in the SoulPower folder, they've only had like 5 songs between them released that weren't S&K, little sense in giving them seperate folders, maybe Tamara tops, she's had a little more stuff out...

Well put them in folders in S&K's then they're basically S&K writers anyway like you say.. Think Anthem had that one Beverly track with Darkchild & one as a feature on a Tupac track that's all I can think of...
