Looks like we might have some track titles, I was looking at Blacksmith's & Sandy Vee's twitter accounts and it looks like these might be for her. To summarize, Rico Love went in with StarGate & Sandy Vee for Alexandra, and not long after Blacksmith commented to Rico on these 2 tracks...

Oh yeah I saw him comment about those tracks but didn't know they were for Alex hope we get to hear them and the Autumn tracks! :/ She was also in the studio with T-Wiz, Wayne Wilkins & Andre Merritt last night too Wink

Anybody have any info on Alex's first single? Apparently it's produced by Rico Love and should go to radio in the next few weeks.

Yeah, I doubt they'd actually let him produce her first single by herself...both songs seem ballady though, would they really release a ballad? We can't even be sure these are the tracks, but I got the impression he had only just worked with them for the first time and these titles came very shortly after...

Yeah they do seem very ballady titles but they could easily let her release a ballad as even 'The Silence' did well over here and that was awful...she's known for her upbeats now but she's still got the vocals and the X-Factor memories for people to want her to do some ballads. But let's not get too excited like you say they're not confirmed we'll probably just end up with another boring 'All Night Long' Rico track rather than an edgy 'Commander' style one...

Yeah but a ballad as a first single? For all we know they're both huge club tracks haha although I doubt it...maybe Scars is a nice dark midtempo, it's always gotta be mega fast or mega slow these days, it would be refreshing for someone not to care and just release a song...

They could easily give her a ballad first single they do it with Leona but with Rico I doubt it is, he's nOt massive on ballads... This is meant to be her US album too & she just signed a joint deal with RCA so hoPefully they won't play with the Collabos & releases Wink

I don't think Selfish qualifies as a midtempo, you're proving my point exactly Razz

They give Leona 13 ballads and 1 uptempo, Alexandra has 10 uptempos to 4 mid-tempos/ballads, they're similar artists in a way, obviously work with all the same people but their marketing strategies are quite different...

Aren't her & Leona's album supposed to be out sort of soon, like maybe in a few months BTW?

I think it will definitely be an uptempo. Seems like he's produced the first single as he tweeted that that they would #TTLO all over the world soon.

As for the sound, something ala Commander would be amazing, though I don't consider All Night Long to be boring!

I don't hate it, I just thought it was a bit underwhelming considering he can write edgy, catchy stuff like 'Commander' if he can give her something like that [which is likely if SG & Sandy Vee are on prduction] that would be fantastic. As this is her debut US release I think they'll be stepping their game up on production/writing, we probably don't know half the people who worked on this. [or at least I hope we don't]

Even though 'Overcome' had some massive names it sounded cheap in places so hopefully they can really pull of a tight pop/R&B album with this one.

Well initially RedOne was supposed to do the majority, I hope that has changed by now...nothing against him but he's had enough projects like that in the past few years...she also definetly worked with Ne-Yo and The Smeezingtons again, I'm sure there are more names confirmed, there's hardly anything there right now...

So was it mis-titled or something or what? I did a search but it only found the overcome one and a news topic IIRC? Got a new track title BTW "Call Myself A Liar", Alexandra / Ina Wroldsen / Fraser T Smith...good to see a writing credit too considering she doesn't add one to every song she records...wish we got some more titles...

U never know with Fraser T Smith I definitely prefer his more dub step [Britney tracks] stuff to his Adele soul shit [I detest that fat bitch] so hopefully with Alexandra's record its something upbeat although the title suggests otherwise... and yeah interesting to see her on writing and she will have definitely been writing properly I can't see them giving her 'Beyonce' writing credits with her label situation.. [aka a puppet for Syco]
