Track is called "Devil's Work", it's sorta dope in a wrong kind of way, it's überpoppy and full of clichés ranging from tacky early 90s Dance piano riffs and cheap ravy synths to pizzicato strings and 70s horns with a Radiohead beat and Imogen Heap-esque vocals/writing...so...yeah...blogs etc are saying it's the single but IIRC they said it's supposed to be just a taster and the single is coming out in January with the album following shortly after...

Oh and I forgot to say that Sky has said she is pretty much keeping the 'electronic' stuff she worked on and hopes to still use some of it for the next album, that she just wants to do a little of everything [one album at a time]...wether or not any of that will ever happen is debatable but at least she's got the right mind set...

Oh awesome I'll check it out and I will have to find their album on my HD you know I have a backlog of like 10000000 tracks on there but I'll check it out according to your recommendations though Wink

I hope so I couldn't have a whole album of indie stuff I even liked the cheesy 80s rock vibe of 'Obsession' I definitely want at least an album full of edgy electro mixed with 80s electro and rock [aka her EP but longer] before she gets into other genres...

Might as well start with Devil's Work, I think you'll like the 90s melodies, it's pretty different for them in a way...hope we get a lot of remixes by them this time around as well [especially since that's basically all we get from them these days]...

Well she's keeping the electronic stuff for the 2nd album so you're just gonna have to deal with that, I'm afraid...obviously if she ever even gets to that point it probably means 2 of them actually being on there...supposedly pretty much all of these known [registered] B&A tracks are pretty old already [according to her Dynamite State was written in 2008 for instance, I assumed it was late 2009 / early 2010]

Well that's bad news because as much as I love her up to now I don't think she'll even get a second album [let alone even release a first at this rate] all her singles have tanked over here unfortunately [her main market as far as I know] so we'll just have to hope stuff starts leaking Sad

'All'? How many has she had, 1? Not that I'm disagreeing, I've basically said that in above posts but was Sex Rules ever a proper single? One was awesome BTW, that, 108, Haters Anonymous & Hot Chick are the only songs I really like, I don't care for the organic stuff with her...

Other than the B&A tracks Almost Lover, American Dream / Sleeping With The Enemy, I guess Catch Me If U Can is decent, Elevator, Sakura Night, Take It Slow [= possibly the S&K track] are the more interesting, leaning towards electro and R&B etc tracks.

First Base, Shiny Toy & Too Many Boys [= Dallas Austin] are electro as well but I don't like 'em much...I've uploaded all her stuff minus the EP to Box.

On the topic of B&A, the line in that RaVaughn/Alex James/busbee/B&A track "So Serious" isn't "hurt Riri on this" like I previously thought, it's "hurry on this". Just so I don't forget. So I think it's probably a Ciara track along with BoA's Touched, I was listening to it [Touched] the other day and even felt kind of stupid for not realizing that earlier when it makes perfect sense.

Ahh OK yeah B&A have never even submitted to Rihanna as far as we know have they? Shame really she'd be amazing on one of their classic electro tracks with a decent writer...

Well that would have proven they did...they should've, and for all we know they have, though, I'm sure tons of people have done tracks for at least GGGB / Rated R / LOUD! with known writing camps having been organized for RR & LOUD!...I'd love to have a Dean / B&A track lol that could be a real problem. James and them should also be mandatory. Oh and I also hope someone has had the sense to have Livvi work with them...

Also decided to up all the Miike Snow remixes now that that album is 'over' and we should have most official remixes for it...not all of them are amazing by any means but they did a great job selecting as many different approaches as possible, and also kept a good balance between bigger and smaller names...

Yeah I do wish they'd work with more writers they're so versatile there's no reason they shouldn't have worked with everyone by now... Sad

Oh awesome thanks just listening to the Sky tracks one by one I love 'Untouchable' and that def sounds like a Garrett sample I agree and ADORE 'Sakura Night' but how do we know its for her? Its some weird movie vocal sample and a dope beat that's it? haha

Well, there's the Atlantic Ocean...and now Miike Snow...they do obviously mail beats to US writers and go to the US for sessions but still, already being in LA or NYX is still a large advantage.

Is it, it has no vocals? I've probably never heard it in full then lol...lol I expected you to love the weirdness of Dynamite State but yeah Hot Chick / Untouchable is dope, also check out the clip, it's a lot cleaner-sounding unfortunately but they added this dope synth that's a little awkward like the ending of Touched...all those B&A/Mango songs have basically the same beat [Toy Soldier, Touched, Hot Chick] but they're still all pretty dope beats...

Just noticed Sky is credited as a writer on Steve Aoki's track with LMFAO & NERVO 'Livin' My Love' how random, her track/vocals first? Only other interesting credit on that album is this Polina Goudiva chick on his track with Nayer [Pitbull's artist who does those shit vocals on 'Give Me Everything'] 'Come With Me [Deadmeat]' wonder who she is [only other track I know she wrote on is 'Sleep All Day / Party All Night']

LMAO that track is called Deadmeat? I think I DL-ed that album, it's been out for a while, hasn't it?

For the record, I don't think Polina Goudieva wrote anything about Sleep All Day, I'm pretty sure StarGate & Sandy Vee reworked an old track Sandy Vee did with her and this Duane Harden character.
